N. Malé › S. Malé › Vaavu › S. Ari › N. Ari › Rasdhoo

Our ‘Best of Central’ route — seven nights of channel dives, sharks and mantas across the central atolls.

1. Day 1 · Malé — arrival & check-in

   Welcome briefing; check dive + Dive 1 at Fish Tank.

2. Day 2 · South Malé

   Velassaru Caves — hidden chambers and soft corals.

3. Day 3 · Vaavu Atoll

   Miyaru Kandu (Shark Channel) — currents and reef sharks.

4. Day 4 · South Ari

   Kuda Rah Thila — protected marine area; possible grey reef sharks.

5. Day 5 · North Ari

   Moofushi Manta Point, Fish Head Thila, Hafsa Thila.

6. Day 6 · Rasdhoo

   Madivaru Corner — sharks, tuna, jacks and eagle rays.

7. Day 7 · Return to Malé

   Last swim, disembark, transfer to the airport.

Highlights

• Fish Tank — Almost every kind of moray eel, plus stingrays and mangrove rays.
• Velassaru Caves — Intricate cave systems adorned with vibrant corals (South Malé).
• Miyaru Kandu — Vaavu’s ‘Shark Channel’ — reef sharks in the current; advanced.
• Kuda Rah Thila — Protected South Ari pinnacle — snapper, fusiliers, grey reef sharks.
• Moofushi Manta Point — Mantas Dec–Apr, whitetips and napoleon wrasse (North Ari).
• Rasdhoo Madivaru Corner — Wall into channel — grey reef & whitetip sharks, tuna, eagle rays.

N. Malé › Baa Atoll (UNESCO)

North to the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve — Baa’s thilas plus Hanifaru Bay’s manta and whale-shark aggregations (snorkel only).

1. Day 1 · Malé — arrival & check-in

   Welcome briefing; check dive + Fish Tank.

2. Day 2 · North Malé

   Lankan manta cleaning station; Girifushi soft corals & swim-through.

3. Day 3–6 · Baa Atoll

   Maavaru Thila, Dhonfanu Thila, Dhigu Faru Thila; Hanifaru Bay by snorkel.

4. Day 7 · Return to Malé

   Last swim, disembark, transfer to the airport.

Highlights

• Lankan — A famous manta cleaning station — the classic Maldives manta show.
• Girifushi — Blue soft corals and a swim-through; strong current possible.
• Maavaru Thila — Twin pinnacles — a deeper start and a shallower finish.
• Dhigu Faru Thila — A small thila in a strong-current channel; experienced divers.
• Hanifaru Bay — Manta feeding & whale sharks May–Nov — snorkel only, no scuba.
